Terms of Use
Last updated: October 4, 2026
- Grown-ups (18 or older) set up the account and are in charge of it. Little ones read under their care.
- The Story Club starts with a 7-day free trial, then is charged monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time.
- Our stories and pictures are for your family to enjoy at home, not to copy or share.
1. Agreeing to these terms
WhizzBee is run by Stellite Works LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using WhizzBee you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use WhizzBee.
2. Accounts are for grown-ups
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. You can add up to 4 children to it.
- Keep your password (and your family code) to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account, including what your children do while signed in.
- Please give true details, and keep your email address up to date so we can reach you about your account and payments.
3. The Story Club subscription
- What you get: the full library of storybooks, audiobooks and coloring books, plus everything new we add while you're a member.
- Free trial: joining starts a 7-day free trial. We ask for a card, but nothing is charged during the trial. During the trial some books and coloring pages are a free preview; everything opens once your paid membership starts.
- Billing: when the trial ends, your card is charged the monthly price shown when you joined (our launch price is $8 a month in the United States and CA$8 in Canada; families in other countries pay US$8, converted by their bank), then again every month on the same day until you cancel. Prices include the currency of your country and are shown before you join. You can also start your paid membership early from the Parent area.
- Price changes: early members keep their launch price. If we ever change the price of an existing membership, we'll email you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before it applies.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in the Parent area. See Cancellation & Refunds for exactly what happens.
- Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may include tax where required.
4. Personalized and printed books
- When you send a request, we reply by email with the details and the price before anything is made. Your order is confirmed only when you accept it.
- A personalized story is made just for your child from the details you send. Please check names and details carefully; we'll show you the story to approve before it's final.
- You give us permission to use the details you send only to create and deliver your book. Your personalized book is for your family: we won't sell it or show it to other families without your written permission.
- Printed books are delivered to the address you give us. Delivery times are estimates.
5. Our stories and pictures
All stories, illustrations, audiobooks, coloring pages and characters on WhizzBee are original works owned by us (or used with permission) and are protected by copyright. Your membership lets your family read, listen and color at home for personal, non-commercial use. You're welcome to print coloring pages for your own children. Please don't copy, download (other than printing coloring pages), share, sell, or upload our books anywhere else.
6. Being kind and fair
Please don't try to get into other families' accounts, guess family codes or PINs, get around the free trial or payments, or interfere with how WhizzBee works. We may pause or close accounts that do.
7. Changes to WhizzBee
We keep improving WhizzBee, so books, features and the way things look may change. We may occasionally take the site offline for updates. If we ever stop offering the Story Club, we'll tell you in advance and stop charging you.
8. Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep WhizzBee safe, working and suitable for children, but it is provided "as is" and we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
9. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. If there's a disagreement, please email us first; most things can be sorted out quickly and kindly.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make an important change to these terms, we'll update this page and email the account's grown-up before it applies. Using WhizzBee after that means you accept the new terms.
